We are a group of math-obsessed individuals on a simple mission: rank every Australian lottery by value-for-money, every single day.

The value of a lottery ticket changes constantly. Jackpots roll over, bonus rounds activate, and ticket prices vary between games. What was the best value yesterday might not be today. We do the math so you never have to.

How it works

Our scoring model considers four key factors for each lottery: the jackpot amount, the odds of winning, the cost per game, and the expected number of winners who will share the prize. We combine these into a single value score that tells you how many cents of expected return you get per dollar spent.

For lotteries with variable jackpots (Powerball, Oz Lotto, etc.), we pull the latest data automatically from The Lott's public API. For raffle-style lotteries like Dream Home Art Union and Yourtown, we update the data when new draws are announced.
